Lodge #1 would like to congratulate Tammara Cummings of the FOP Labor Council on her promotion to General Council. Tammara is our field rep/attorney from the Labor Council, and she is replacing Tom Sonneborn due to his retirement on December 31, 2009.
Tom thank you for all time and effort in assisting Lodge #1 on our labor issues.

Message from State Trustee Dist 9 Jeff Newberg
The winner of District 9's scholarship went to Brother Paul Johnson's daughter. On Friday August 28, 09, the state FOP held a trustee meeting and the following information I would like to provide to all district 9 members: The 2010 State FOP Conference will be held in Rock Island, IL on July 22, 23, and 24, 2010. Also any one that is a member can go to Kaplain University and receive a 10% discount for being an FOP member.
